The Elizabethan is a charming replica of an 1890’s Mississippi Stem-Wheeled Paddle Steamer, beautifully reflecting the style of the era. Before propeller-driven ships came into their own at the turn of century, these ships provided the primary method of transportation for people wishing to travel along, or across, the Deep South’s mightiest river. Concealed behind her Victorian exterior are elegant surroundings and facilities that beautifully complement the period charm of this ship. The Elizabethan is one of the largest vessels on the Thames available for private charter. She can cruise from Putney to beyond the Thames Barrier, and has an enviable reputation for excellent cuisine and service. With a sliding roof, two spacious decks, a unique upper-deck promenade walkway and an experienced professional crew, she is in a class of her own.

 

 

The Dixie Queen is London’s largest entertainment, conference and party boat - a stunning $10 million conversion into a luxurious replica of a 19th century Mississippi Paddleboat, based right by Tower Bridge. Under previous owners she was Stockholm’s favourite cruising Night Club, and the haunt of the younger members of the Swedish Royal Family. She sets new standards for style and the sheer quality of her interior. The lower dining saloon holds up to 128 guests for seated dinner or 108 guests for a buffet. The upper deck can take a maximum of 318 for lunch or dinner and up to 276 for buffets. Onboard is a full spec disco with lighting, sound system, extensive dance floor, and over 500 sq.ft of raised staging. Over 300 guests may be accommodated for theatre style presentations. Conference facilities are also available.

 

Erasmus. The recently refurbished M.V. Erasmus was built in Germany to a high specification and plied her trade in Holland for four years before entering service on the Thames. A light, airy and spacious boat on three levels, she offers superb views of the attractions and skyline of London. She has the largest area of open decks available on the River Thames so is particularly suited for open air barbecues as well as canapé receptions, buffets and fine dining. On the lower deck her bright interior provides a number of flexible layouts - up to 144 guests may be accommodated for a seated meal and up to 132 for a buffet. On the top deck there are further tables and seats for another 62 guests. There are two bars offering a full range of drinks and a sizeable dance floor on the upper deck. She is also a TV star! Having appeared in an episode of Minder recently.

 

Edwardian. Built by Richard Branson in 1985, this elegant river cruiser provides a genial setting for entertaining on the Thames with the style of a bygone age and the facilities of the 21st Century. The Edwardian’s welcoming bright and airy saloon can seat up to 60 guests for dinner and comfortably takes 90 for a finger buffet. Ideal for a range of events from boardroom meetings to parties, informal receptions to formal seated dinners, the Edwardian is extremely versatile. The vessel has a sleek wood panelled interior, removable dancefloor, and an attractive mezzanine bar level that holds up to 30 in comfort. In good weather the folding aft doors can be slipped back for additional space out onto the covered rear deck area. The large outdoor upper deck allows guests to enjoy wonderful views of the London sights.

 

Silver Barracuda. Over three decades of decadence on the Thames, she has welcomed onboard prime ministers, film stars, pop singers, writers and royalty. Relaunched in Spring 2009 - this beautiful, vintage river cruiser’s latest incarnation reflects the original Art Deco interior styling with gorgeous fabrics by Osborne & Little. The Silver Barracuda can accommodate 236 guests in total or 158 for seated dining. With an interior featuring an opulent and luxurious approach to design - the effect is truly breathtaking. The upper deck bar and lounge features leather sofas, chaise longues, oak carpentry, intimate booth seat dining and mirrored 1930s bar, which surround a dance floor with retractable sunroof. The lower dining deck has been restyled to highlight the original woodwork with Art Deco influences. An opulent divider curtain enables the lower deck to be partitioned creating an intimate dining deck for smaller parties.

 

Silver Sturgeon. Chic, cool and contemporary - this is the Silver Sturgeon - the flagship of the fleet. Re-launched in March 2007 following a multi-million pound refurbishment, the Silver Sturgeon’s interior and Upper Deck has been completely recreated by leading British designers and architects. The effect: a stunning 21st Century yacht. Inside, warm natural colours in cream, maple, oak and chestnut have been used to create a relaxing environment. Host your celebrations for up to 586 guests for a reception or 458 for seated dining. onferences and meetings (for up to 342 theatre style) benefit from enhanced presentation and screening facilities; featuring advanced audio-visual technology. And for the all important business presentations, product launches or even fashion shows, the River Room offers a black out blind system.
