Tower Bridge has joined forces with Topsail Events to offer London visitors a unique cruising experience to celebrate the River Thames and the world famous Bridge both as part of history and as it comes alive for the forthcoming Games. This special ‘2012 cruise’ starts on the 1^st August and will run on selected dates throughout the summer, with a capacity of up to 120 passengers.

The evening starts with a full guided tour of the Tower Bridge Exhibition, an opportunity to soak up the atmospheric splendour of this iconic Victorian ‘Wonder Bridge’. The breath-taking views from the panoramic Walkways suspended 42 metres above the Thames is an unforgettable contrast to the Victorian Engine Rooms far below which house the magnificent restored steam pumping engines that were used to power the bridge lifts until 1976.

Guests will then have the opportunity to embark the William B, a 35 metre long luxurious cruiser designed specifically to combine entertaining with spectacular sightseeing.  A delicious BBQ and sunset cruise climaxes in the opening of the Bridge as the Cruiser travels beneath it.
A sumptuous feast will be served from the unique forward facing deck of the William B, offering spectacular views of the London skyline. With four London 2012 venues bordering the Thames; Excel London, the O2 Arena, Greenwich Park and Woolwich Arsenal, guests will practically be rubbing shoulders with the world class athletes!

The Rings have already been lowered into position on Tower Bridge and will be in place right through to the end of the Games. Each evening there will be a dazzling light show illuminating the Rings and the Bridge. The cherry on top for one lucky guest will be the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to raise the Bridge on a future date to be arranged, a night to remember!

   The itinerary for the Tower Bridge 2012 cruise:
   - Tower Bridge tour: 17.30 – 18.30
   - Embarkation: 18.45 – 19.00
   - BBQ and half bottle of wine/2 beers: 19.30
   - Cruise through central London including Greenwich and O2
   - Light show start and the bridge is lifted: 21:45pm TBC
   - Rings are lowered: 22:00 – 22:03pm TBC
   - Disembarkation: 22.30
