Nothing this year will be quite as exciting as the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the Thames. Here at Topsail, we are delighted to confirm our presence in the flotilla and we feel very privileged to be part of history in the making!

1. “The afternoon of Sunday 3rd June will see a thousand boats gather on the River Thames in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It will be the largest flotilla in modern times on the river with rowing boats, working boats and pleasure vessels of all shapes and sizes beautifully dressed with streamers and Union Jacks, stretching for an estimated twelve and a half miles.”

2. It will be a huge spectacle culminating in a gun salute as the flotilla passes through an ‘Avenue of Sail’ made by traditional Thames Sailing Barges, Oyster Smacks, Tall Ships, naval vessels and many other impressive craft. Now in partnership with Thames Leisure, we are lucky enough to have some of our vessels moored along the Pageant’s route by London Bridge with a spectacular view of events guaranteed. This is a one-off opportunity to be onboard one of the most impressive sailing vessels or river boats in the Pageant.
