Tall Ship Oosterschelde

  1. Oosterschelde interior

Built in 1918, the Dutch Three-masted Topsail Schooner Oosterschelde worked under sail as a freighter along the African coast and around the Mediterranean. Engines were fitted in 1930 and as sail gave way to motor, she was gradually de-rigged to spend the next 40 years working as a motor coaster. In 1988 the ship began a long process of restoration and her saloons were beautifully converted with many original fittings of the period.

  2. Oosterschelde deck

The Oosterschelde can offer opportunities in harbours all over the world. During the winter season the ship will regularly be available in her homeport Rotterdam. She is particularly suitable for daytrips, corporate presentations and parties, but the ship may also be chartered for an extended period or for a special voyage or project.
