Tideway

  1. TIDEWAY MAIN

Tideway was built in 1973 for the Tideway Passenger Boat Company. In 1985, Tideway was the sole remaining vessel of the once mighty Thames Launches before passing to M. Britton where she began cruising hourly between Westminster, the Tate gallery and London Bridge. Britton then joined the Westminster Passenger Services Association and Tideway’s cruises were extended to include winter trips to Tower Pier and Greenwich. The company was later renamed Thames Leisure and began to specialise in running charters on the Thames. Tideway remains a fundamental part of their fleet and is a great vessel for delivering groups to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

  2. TIDEWAY CHILD 02

Spread over two decks, you will find that the Tideway is an incredibly versatile vessel having successfully entertained parties as small as 10 for an intimate dinner or as large as 85 for a party. The large all round windows of the upper deck offer excellent visibility as well as creating a bright and airy atmosphere. There is now fixed perimeter seating on the top deck with chrome furnishings giving a modernist feel. Complimenting this, the Lower Saloon is fully carpeted and has comfortable bench seating. It also hosts the large and fully stocked bar. At the bow there is an open area with seating for around 20 of those wishing for a quiet moment or simply to drink in the river!
