1. Mark Tower – Managing Director

   Mark has worked in marine events since 1987. A professional skipper with a background in marketing he has innovated many marine event concepts. Mark is also Maritime Director of the International Festival of the Sea. His lifelong passions are maritime festivals, sailing, owning beautiful vintage boats…and beautiful vintage wines…

2. Sofia Hagerling – Operations Manager

   With a background in the Travel Industry and as a Swedish Rowing Champion, Sofia joined Topsail Events. Working as the Operations Manager she enjoys the challenge of organising the events on the Thames. A great admirer of IKEA, she would ideally like to take over the company and ……………… that’s enough Sofia.

3. Sarah Lawrence - Senior Sales & Operations Coordinator

   With a Degree in Travel Management and having travelled the world, Sarah is very knowledgeable on the sales side, accomplished in operations, efficient in finance, she is in fact the Mary Poppins of the team, She regularly enjoys sailing with her partner and is practically perfect in every way – and no you can’t employ her – she’s ours.

5. Anthony Cowan – Marketing and Sales Coordinator

   Anthony “Jetsetter” Cowan has recently returned from a year working in Vancouver in an event sales role, and previous to that he lived in Sydney for a year. He is a welcome addition to the team for Mark, as a fellow male to side with! Anthony is also a sailing instructor so is looking forward to combining his two passions; boats and parties.

6. Gerald Gadd – Head Skipper & Operations Coordinator

   Gerald (the happy-looking one in the middle) has been skippering for Topsail for many a year, and is an all round wonder – captain of the river, king of the sea, pier-booker extraordinaire and general good guy!

7. Tom Cook - Crew &  Maintenance Coordinator

   Tom is a true sea dog and the Will’s all encompassing crew and maintenance hand, working on everything from cleaning and painting to sail making and rigging. With an incredible knowledge of the barges and the Thames basin Tom’s your man for any maritime questions whilst onboard the Will.
